The largest vaccine production site in the Netherlands
Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health is the largest vaccine manufacturer in the world and produces bacteriological, virological and parasitological vaccines for every animal species. We operate a network of almost 30 manufacturing sites, including facilities in Boxmeer and De Bilt in the Netherlands. The production facility in Boxmeer is one of Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health’s largest, as well as being the largest vaccine production and development site in the country. With more than 500 employees (out of a total of 1,400) with a higher professional or university education, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health in Boxmeer is a center of excellence for the development, technology, marketing and production of vaccines. Within production, you will work with state-of-the-art technology manufacturing our vaccines and pharmaceutical expertise. You work with colleagues from various departments such as R&D and marketing, as well as having regular contact with colleagues in production units abroad. 

Home-made cell cultivation technology
At Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health’s production units, you work with the most advanced cell cultivation systems that exist, a large proportion of which the company developed itself.
