Intervet opens new office in Moscow

In April 2004, Intervet officially opened its new central office in Moscow. The offices are the new premises for staff from both the Business Unit Intervet (Intervet International’s representative office in Moscow), which serves the Russian Federation and OOO Intervet which works more locally. 

The merger of the two units into one office was carried out to ensure an integrated service. 

Business Unit Intervet has operated successfully in the region since 1993. It is responsible for the marketing of Intervet products and technical assistance. Intervet now holds one of the leading positions in the Russian Federation in terms of sales of products for farm and companion animals where 70 products have already been registered.

OOO Intervet, was established in Moscow in 1999 to facilitate logistical operations and improve communication with local veterinary companies.

Intervet’s products are delivered to clients through a network of official distributors all over the region.

The total number of employees in the Business Unit Intervet office and OOO Intervet has increased from five to 18. During its ten years on the market of the Russian Federation, Intervet International’s products have become well known among veterinarians and animal owners, whether livestock or companion animals. 

Furthermore, Intervet cooperates productively with various widely known organizations such as the Association of Practicing Veterinarians, the Russian Veterinary Association, the Equine Veterinary Association and the Russian Poultry Association. Intervet is a regular sponsor of the RSAVA (Russian Small Animal Veterinary Association) and the company regularly participates in all major specialized exhibitions, conferences. Cooperating with many scientific institutes, Intervet also contributes to the knowledge and development of pharmaceutical and biological products.
