A veterinary Lab for Ukraine - Intervet Ukraine

Since 1992, the former state system of veterinary laboratories which operated in Ukraine has deteriorated. Intervet is helping restore the vet sector. Working in collaboration with its local distributor, BioTestLab, and with support from the Ministry of Agriculture in Ukraine, and the Dutch funding agency, Senter, the business unit purchased equipment and established a state-of-the-art veterinary laboratory in Kiev, Ukraine. As part of the project, employees of BioTestLab were trained in the Ukraine (including how to use laboratory equipment, economics, and laboratory management) and at Deventer in the Netherlands.
