Intervet Romania opens new offices and warehouse

7 November 2005

In November 2005, Intervet Romania officially opened its new offices and warehouse in Chiajna on the outskirts of the country’s capital, Bucharest.

Guests at the opening ceremony included high level staff from Intervet and representatives of The Netherlands Consulate in Romania.

They toured the offices and the warehouse, which offer significant benefits for employees and customers alike, including increased space for all employees, easier access from both inside and outside the city, a larger warehouse area and better logistical services for receiving and dispatching goods.

Intervet International originally opened a representative office in Romania in 1997 to focus on the registration of a wide range of poultry and companion animal vaccines, and reproductive hormones.

Subsequent development of the Romanian market created a strong need for a local operating company and Intervet Romania Srl was founded in December 1999.
