Intervet continues to invest in Saxe Gotha business park in Boxmeer

27 July 2006

Boxmeer, The Netherlands

On 27 July 2006, Intervet purchased the Plukon site at Saxe Gotha business park in Boxmeer. Covering over four hectares, the site is located opposite Intervet’s facilities. Thanks to this purchase, Intervet is prepared for a future expansion of its activities.

As yet, there are no concrete plans in place for the Plukon site. Intervet decided to purchase in order to have sufficient capacity for future expansion. The site is ideally located for this purpose. A master plan for a definite layout of the premises will be drawn up when the time comes.
The Plukon site is separated from the Intervet facilities by two interconnected streets, Heistraat and Kleine Broekstraat. Intervet will be taking this into account when drafting the master plan, designing it so that the separately located buildings are effectively linked to one another.

Intervet focuses on research and development, production, marketing and sales of veterinary products. Intervet International bv is among the three largest companies in the world in this sector. With a staff of 1,200 at the Boxmeer facilities, Intervet is the largest employer in Boxmeer.
