BOXMEER (the Netherlands), August 20, 2008 – At the 33rd annual World Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress (WSAVA) in Dublin, Ireland, August 20-24, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health, presents a comprehensive range of solutions in all key market segments, including vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and innovative companion animal programs for veterinary professionals.
At the WSAVA congress for small animal veterinarians, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health sponsors key scientific lectures on dermatology, supporting its global leadership with its first and second generation otic preparations for acute and chronic otitis externa- OTOMAX® and MOMETAMAX®. The company also sponsors a cardiorespiratory lecture on VASOTOP®, one of the most potent long-acting angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Also being highlighted are CANINSULIN/VETSULIN®, veterinary insulin for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in dogs and cats and NOBIVAC®/GALAXY® and ECLIPSE®, the main vaccine lines for the immunization of cats and dogs against infectious diseases.
The congress also serves as the venue for the presentation of the WSAVA Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health international award for service to the professional. The award will be granted to a leading veterinary professional.

Hubert Trentesaux is responsible for marketing strategies in the global and regional companion animal markets. He served as Vice President, Global Companion Animal at Schering-Plough Animal Health, since 2003. He joined the company in 1984 as a Marketing Planning Manager in France and held various positions of increasing responsibility. In 1988 he was appointed Marketing Director in France and in 1991 he became General Manager, Spain, Animal Health. Trentesaux returned to France in 1997 as General Manager, France, Animal Health and in 2001 he was appointed Vice President, U.S. Companion Animal. In 2003, he was appointed Vice President, Global Companion Animal. Hubert Trentesaux holds a MBA degree in International Agri-Food Management and a master’s degree in Agriculture.
