Intervet appoints Jochen Bader Vice President Finance and Control

Intervet, the animal health business unit of Akzo Nobel, appointed the current Director Finance and Control, Jochen Bader (46), Vice President Finance and Control. 

After graduating from ‘Fachhochschule’ (University of Applied Sciences) in Business Administration in Landshut (Germany), Jochen Bader joined the corporate finance department of Hoechst Roussel Vet (HR Vet) in 1987. Following a two year assignment with HRVet South Africa, he became financial controller with HRVet UK in 1995. After the acquisition of HR Vet by Intervet in 1999 he held General Manager positions in India and Taiwan and was promoted to Director Finance and Control of Intervet in Boxmeer, The Netherlands in 2003. 

Ruurd Stolp, President, Intervet, said: “With the broad experience in commercial and financial management functions, Jochen Bader has the right qualifications and capabilities that uniquely position him to lead the finance and controlling discipline within Intervet.”
