Intervet appoints Malte Greune as a member of the company's Executive Committee

Intervet, Akzo Nobel’s veterinary pharma business, announces that Malte Greune (41) has been appointed as a member of Intervet’s Executive Committee. Malte Greune will succeed Joost Helsen in the function of Vice President Manufacturing and Logistics. 

After finishing his study of Business Administration at the Clark University (USA) and ‘Diplom-Kaufmann’ at the University of Trier (Germany), Malte Greune received his doctoral degree from the University of Cologne. He received a number of awards for his achievements, among other things a ‘DAAD-Scholarship’ (USA) and was supported by the ‘Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes’ (German National Merit Foundation).In 1995 he started his carrier at Hoechst AG in Frankfurt, Germany. After a successful career in different management positions at Hoechst AG and Hoechst Roussel Vet (HR Vet) in Munich, he became Director Pharma Manufacturing/Strategic Procurement in Munich after Intervet acquired HRVet. In 2002 Malte Greune was promoted to Director Global Manufacturing Pharma and Biologicals in Boxmeer, the Netherlands.
