Description
Nobilis AE 1143 is a live vaccine against Avian Encephalomyelitis in chickens and turkeys.

Composition
Active components per dose:
Live AE virus strain Calnek: >= 3.0 log¹⁰ EID₅₀

Formulation
A freeze-dried pellet.

Indications
For the vaccination of future layers and breeding stock and turkeys against Avian Encephalomyelitis.

Vaccination
Birds should be vaccinated between 8 and 16 weeks of age.
Vaccination of layers and breeding stock must be carried out at least 1 month before the onset of lay.
Turkeys should be vaccinated between 18 and 26 weeks of age.

Dosage
One dose per bird

Method of administration
In the drinking water.

Oral administration:
Dissolve at the rate of 25 doses per ml in Unisol Diluent and give 1ml orally to 4% of the chickens.
Only to be used when birds are raised in a floor system.

Withholding period
None.

Presentation
Boxes of vials each containing 500 or 1000 doses.

Storage 
Store between 2-8°C in the dark.
Vaccine medicated water should be used immediately and not stored.

Warnings
On no account should this vaccine be used in chickens younger than 2 months of age or in birds in lay. 

Further information

• When the number of birds is between standard dosages, the next higher dosage should be chosen eg  for 4500 birds prepare vaccine solution for 5000 birds. 
• Wash and disinfect hands after vaccinating. 
• Dispose of empty or part-used vials in accordance with local regulations. 

Precautions
Only healthy birds should be vaccinated.
