Dolorex is Intervet’s answer to pain control. This analgesic is based on butorphanol tartrate and is registered for use in horses and dogs. The powerful analgesic properties make Dolorex a first choice in the relief of pain (colic of gastrointestinal tract origin in horses and of moderate visceral pain in dogs) and sedation in combination with certain α2-adrenoceptor agonists. Due to the lack of morphenic side reactions Dolorex is very safe in its use.

Dolorex is provided in a ready to use injection solution in a convenient 10 and 50 ml bottle.
